Exciting times to finally have some of our German Riding Pony progeny under saddle. Why Worry (aka Frank) was broken in Winter 2013 and restarted in January 2014 by Kate and Judy is now having a great time training him. Frank-enjoying

The photo below is taken end March 2014.The first time at a new venue and approx 6th ride.

Sonny-5-

Sonnenschein was green broken as a 3 year old and now has a really lovely filly foal at foot by imported German Riding Pony Black Charming. This young mare was produced by our stud using frozen semen over a Welsh mare and is by the influential GRP sire FS Champion de Luxe.

Don't Be Late (aka Della) is by FS Don't Worry (frozen semen) was broken in during Winter 2013 and now has been leased to Moorlands Equestrian to breed a foal by the English Riding pony bred pony stallion Kamilaroi Lord of the Manor. We have learnt not to assume that the maiden mares will go in foal easily and stay pregnant so we see this as an ideal arrangement to get Della past maiden mare status while she is maturing in preparation for a ridden career.

Photos below taken February 2014 as a pregnant 3 year old. At approx 15 hands she has now outgrown pony dressage height but this mare has a lot of very positive characteristics and we have no doubt she will be very competitive in open company in the right hands and in the meantime she is a delight to have in our paddock. The are a number of other photos of Don't Be Late in her For Sale listing on this website.

The spotted princess aka Florabelle is still turning heads in Tamworth. Our property has 1 km of road frontage and I have feedback that drivers and cyclists look out for her in our paddock as they pass by.Luckily there has not been an accident yet!

We were very pleased and honoured that Florabelle won the 2013 Sportaloosa Video Foal Futurity.

From April 2014 the sire of our Spotted Princess  (Alf) has commenced showjumping training with James Arkins, Rosthwaite Farm (Moss Vale). What a delight it was for Judy to accompany his owner Samantha (Cayuse Sportaloosa Stud) to see a now mature Alf going so nicely under saddle during James' first ride.We always thought a foal from the mating of this stallion and our mare Glamour would be an awesome small horse and with the Spotted Princess going to be 2 in November 2014 that dream is getting closer to reality.

Buena Vista Kyngswood aka Kyng is a son of our Welsh Stallion Kingswood Magnet out of Buena Vista Keely. Born 27/1/07 he was purchased as a yearling to fill the gap in time between breeding our own foals by Kingswood Magnet and having them old enough to ride.

Kyng came back from the breaker November 09 and was turned out to grow up. He is15 hands without shoes. Photos below were taken beginning 2011 after his long break.

Kyng was sold January 2012 .
